Mia's favorite item to layer with her Pyrrha necklaces is this unique piece from Lillian Crowe. On the bottom of the half-oxidized, 27 inch cable chain hangs a weighted pyramid. Lillian Crowe is a young designer from Manhattan. Her inspiration comes from her love of museum relics and the stories behind them. She makes simple, easy to wear statement pieces from reclaimed old jewelry hardware. Check out several pieces from this designer at both Fire Finch locations.

This bronze necklace from Pyrrha is called Aurora and Cupid. In ancient Roman mythology Aurora, goddess of the dawn and rebirth, renews herself every morning and flies across the sky announcing the arrival of the sun. Intaglio features Aurora flinging flowers with Cupid, who holds a torch on her back.

From her Nashville digs, using inspirations evolved from jewelry merchants in New Orleans flea markets, Mia McMahan handcrafts her unique jewelry known as The Rabbit in the Moon. Mia makes her “nature on the moon” jewelry from vintage findings, celestial dyed mosses and neon jasper. Because they are made from nature, no two pieces will ever be the alike. Every piece is truly one of a kind.

Have you heard of Lauren Wolf? Her Druzy Agate and blackened silver jewelry is simply stunning. Lauren Wolf studied jewelry design in the mountains of Mexico and currently works out of her studio in Oakland, CA. Her work has been featured in numerous trade magazines such as Lucky, W, Elle, Interview, InStyle, BlackBook and several celebrities, including Penelope Cruz, Brooke Shields, Debra Messing, and Karolina Kurkova, have worn her work. Lillian Crowe is a fantastic Brooklyn based jewelry designer. Everything is made in New York and is at least half composed of recycled brass, bronze, and other materials. Her pieces from "The Silk Road" and "Anatomica" collections will make your spine tingle with delight ;)!
